Wednesday, 5/31/23 Update/Open House: Drop by Great Frontier Brewing from 4-7pm for an update on recent flooding and the status of the Feasibility Study. T-shirts, stickers, yard signs, literature, volunteer opportunities and letter-writing materials will be available. 2010 S. Oak Street in Lakewood.

Saturday, 8/13/22 at 9am: Breakfast at Bear Creek- Come to Pelican Point in Bear Creek Lake Park for a light breakfast, updates on the Feasibility Study, yard signs, t-shirts for sale, literature and guided hikes. Monday, 4/25/22 at 7pm: Lakewood City Council Meeting. The Council will be voting on a Proclamation Supporting Save Bear Creek Lake Park. This is the first item on the agenda. Please come show support for this Proclamation and gratitude to Council and Staff for taking this important step. Lakewood Civic Center, 480 S. Allison Parkway.
Monday, 3/28/22 at 7pm: Lakewood City Council Meeting Public Comment. Lakewood Civic Center, 480 S. Allison Parkway. Please come show your support for Save Bear Creek Lake Park. We don’t need additional speakers but we DO NEED TO SHOW OUR NUMBERS. Volunteers will be distributing SaveBCLP labels (for shirts) so supporters can be respectfully visible to the Council. Please don’t bring signs into the Council Chambers.

Saturday 2/26/2022: Yard sign pick-up. 9am to noon at 10181 W. Evans Avenue in Lakewood. Donations are suggested. The house is just west of Carmody Middle School on West Evans Ave. As always, please don’t place signs on City property or in right-of-way areas. Email info@savebearcreeklakepark.org if you’d like to pick up a sign at another time, and check your spam folder for replies.
Sunday 1/23/2022: Open House at Whitetail picnic area in BCLP. 11-2. Stop by for literature, stickers and to sign a comment letter to the Army Corps of Engineers. Short presentations will be given. Bring your questions and a few dollars to donate.
